all my little words

I Don't Know What I Knew Before

I was hoping I'd make it through the next couple of months without picking up the dreaded winter cold everyone's getting but no such luck. The head congestion has severely slowed down my thought processes and cheddar cheese tastes thoroughly disgusting but it could be worse, right? I could've come down with the flu.

Because I can't do a half-decent job of thinking right now, I've been spending an inordinate amount of time watching TV (especially In Treatment), drinking Coca-Cola and listening to music.

This Bloc Party song, which I've been listening to lots over the past few days, belongs to Finn & Jersy (One Lonely Degree):

This one I hope will win Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova a much deserved Oscar (you can read my ravings about Once here):

And I caught this live performance by Alicia Keys on Grammy night but was so impressed that I've found myself watching it again and again:

Finally, I do believe this is Feist's best song yet:

And now time for more fluids and decongestant...
