Experimenting with book covers is something I've done for as long as I've had a website. Nicole de las Heras’ gorgeous and dynamic covers for my books are, of course, infinitely more amazing. But fooling around with book designs way back before Random House bought any of my novels was an incredible amount of fun. In some ways it helped me clarify what I thought the overall vibe of the books were too, but mostly it was probably not the most productive use of my time.

Although, maybe since I'm putting them up here I can make a better case for those hours and hours as being productive. Maybe...
